Bravery was our big theme for Term 2, and throughout the term, our girls were encouraged to think about what being brave really means—and to recognise the moments when they’ve shown courage.
In Week 7, after a powerful assembly led by our Prefects (who spoke about all the different ways bravery shows up in everyday life), the whole Senior School got involved in a fun and meaningful activity called #MyBraveIs.
The challenge? To think about a personal fear and set a bravery goal around it. Students then took photos showing their #MyBraveIs – everything from learning to drive a manual car, to sitting exams, to being the first to speak up in class.
More than 100 photos were shared with our Associate Dean of Wellbeing, Felicity Monk, who’s putting together a photo reel to showcase on the Smafe screens.
